Hotel La Sosta...It rained and thunderstormed the entire night.

This pathway is off of the main road around the corner and uphill from a sharp curve.  The hotel entrance is 120 yards from the road down this dirt foot path.  We got caught in a thunderstorm later that evening and the foot path was raging river.

The only paved part of the path....when its raining this part is slick.

The thunderstorm lasted all night and because we are up in the mountains we were essentially just a few meters from the thunderclouds.  Lightening danced around all night and thunder constantly echoed through the valley.

This picture received extra lighting from a lightening bolt that arched across the sky just out of view of the camera.

Rain....these pictures were taken through our open window which we had open because of the broken air conditioning.
